(INDIANAPOLIS) - It is a chilly start to the workweek across central Indiana but the big story will be the warm-up heading our way.
Todd Klaassen of RTV6 reports that a frost advisory will remain in effect until 9 a.m. Monday morning but with plenty of sunshine, once the sun comes up, temperatures should start to warm fairly quickly into the low to mid 40s.
Eventually, today's highs will be in the low 60s which will be about 10 degrees below the normal high of 72 this time of year.
However, starting tomorrow we will quickly start to warm and by Wednesday we could see our warmest temperatures of the year with highs in the mid to upper 80s. Not only will it be warm, but it will be sunny as well.
Starting on Thursday that is when I'll start to introduce the chance of some scattered thunderstorms. This chance of storms will remain in the forecast through the weekend but all the storms will be isolated in nature. At this point, it does not look like we will be dealing with any all-day rains and there will be plenty of sunshine mixed in as well.
