(NOBLESVILLE) - Indiana State Excise Police officers arrested 62 people Saturday during the May Day concerts at Klipsch Music Center.

Of those arrests, 22 people were preliminarily charged with possession of marijuana. Other charges included illegal possession of alcohol and furnishing alcoholic beverages to minors, police said.

"The Indiana State Excise Police will be a presence at Klipsch Music Center throughout their scheduled events," Superintendent Matt Strittmatter said. "Working in cooperation with the management and employees of Klipsch Music Center, we will continue to promote a safe environment for those attending the music venue through the enforcement of Indiana laws."

The concerts Saturday featured the bands New Politics, Buckcherry, Awolnation, Bush and Soundgarden.
