(COLUMBUS) - Crews are in the process of upgrading the mechanism to Columbus’ 14 tornado sirens.
The Republic reports Columbus City Garage purchased $371,053 worth of equipment - and $165, 853 was allotted for siren repairs.
The crews will install two each day and the project will be completed by mid-June.
