Police Arrest Two Brothers Following Night Of Drinking And Foot Pursuit

(PENDLETON) - Two brothers were arrested in Pendleton Saturday night following an incident allegedly involving alcohol, a fired weapon, and a foot pursuit.

The Madison County Sheriff's Department was called to the report of shots fired. When police arrived they saw a man running from the home on foot, he Herald Bulletin reports.

Officers lost sight of the man, and returned to the home, where they found several people inside, inside children and an infant.

An investigation revealed 32-year-old Ryan Roundtree was intoxicated and fired a shot. His brother, 29-year-old Christopher Roundtree, told police he saw him fire the handgun, took the weapon from his brother, and ran off with it.

Both were arrested and have bonded out of jail. No injuries were reported.
