Man Returns Home To Find Dogs Mutilated

(BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY) - A dog owner returned home Friday morning to find two of his dogs mutilated. One died and a third was missing.

John LaBerge of WISH TV8 reports that this happened just after 8 a.m. at a home in the 600 block of Della Road in Bartholomew County.

The owner of the animals says the surviving dog was stabbed more that seven times.

Police say the dogs were in a fenced back yard when someone tortured the animals.

The owner of the Maltinese-Dachsund mixed dogs says his animals were gutted in cold blood.

The dog that died was said to have been stabbed more than 27 times.
