Man Arrested For Theft At State Park

(INDIANAPOLIS) - An Indianapolis man has been arrested following an investigation into the theft at Fort Harrison State Park almost two weeks ago.

Indiana Conservation officers arrested 34-year-old Michael Redding on preliminary charges of burglary, a Class C felony, and theft, a Class D felony.

Authorities say an investigation began on April 9 when a building on Fort Harrison State Park property was broken into, according to a release.

Cable that contained copper was taken.

After an interview with police, Redding admitted to his involvement.

He was taken to the Arrestee Processing Center.
