The task force served an arrest warrant for Eddie Crider, 39, on Tuesday. As Crider was approached by officers in the area of 19th and Salem streets, he began to flee. After a short foot pursuit, he was apprehended by a K9.

Crider was charged with dealing cocaine, a Class A felony, possession of cocaine and resisting law enforcement. He was taken to the hospital for injuries sustained from the dog apprehension and then taken to the Tippecanoe County Jail.
