Four Arrested For Meth Within Feet Of Elementary School

(ROCHESTER) - Four people were arrested during a meth lab bust Thursday night in home just feet away from an elementary school.

According to a press release, several police agencies executed a search warrant at 311 Fulton Ave., in Rochester, and found an active meth lab, items commonly associated with the manufacturing of methamphetamine, methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The home is 870 feet from Riddel Elementary School.

Police arrested the homeowners, Blanford Tolbert, 37 and Summer Tolbert, 32, and charged them with maintaining a common nuisance, conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine and neglect of a dependant.

Emily Thompson, 22, and Calvin Bridges, 32, both of Rochester, were also arrested. Thompson has been charged with two felony charges for conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine and reckless possession of drug paraphernalia, and two misdemeanor charges for possession of marijuana under 30 grams and visiting a common nuisance. Bridges was charged with four felony charges for manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of pre-cursors, possession of methamphetamine, and maintaining a common nuisance. He also has an active warrant for failing to appear for driving as a habitual traffic violator.

Tolbert's four children were also in the residence at the time of the arrest. They are now in the care of Child protective Services. Tolbert's two other children were visiting friends at the time of arrest and are now in the care of CPS.
