(INDIANAPOLIS) - Indianapolis police have begun searching for a rapist after a Walgreens employee said she was attacked in her car overnight on the northeast side.

Stephen Dean, of RTV reports, the woman told police she was working at the Walgreens at 1505 E. 86th St. around 11:40 p.m. Thursday when she went outside to take her regular 15-minute break.

She was sitting in her car when she said a man approached her driver's side window and asked her for a cigarette lighter.

After lighting his cigarette, the woman said she thought the man had left the area, but he suddenly jumped into the unlocked passenger side of her car and attacked her.

She described the rapist as being around 20 years old, but officers reported no leads on finding his identity.

A forensic rape kit exam was conducted on the woman in hopes of recovering DNA evidence, according to the police report filed in the case.
