(KOKOMO) - Students in Kokomo said they found a loaded handgun and an extra clip in the ceiling of their classroom at the Kokomo Area Career Center on Friday.
The Kokomo Tribune reports, the students say a tape measure they were playing with hit the ceiling and a loaded gun fell to the ground.
Police confiscated the gun and no one was injured.
The school district released few details on the incident.
