(BARTHOLOMEW CO.) - A Decatur County Sheriff’s deputy has been arrested following an alcohol-related incident Wednesday.
Deputy Doug Pittman was arrested Wednesday morning on preliminary charges of operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of over .15 percent and leaving the scene of a property damage accident, the Greensburg Daily News reports.
Pittman was not on duty at the time of the accident, which happened in his personal vehicle.
He has since bonded out of jail and placed on administrative leave.
The incident is under investigation.
