(INDIANAPOLIS) - A man has died after being struck by a vehicle in a south side parking lot.
Michael Henrich of Fox59 reports that Metro Police and Indianapolis medics were already on scene at "That Place Bar", near South Emerson Avenue and West County Line Road, around 2 a.m. Friday morning for reports of a disturbance.
A police officer heard a woman screaming for help. When he looked up, he saw a woman couched over a man lying on the pavement.
He ran over to the couple and found the man unconscious, bleeding from the head.
An additional medic was called to the scene and they transported the victim to Wishard Hospital with serious injuries. He died a short time later.
The victim's name is not being released until family members can be notified.
