(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department has confirmed that an infant was found deceased Sunday morning on the city’s east side.
Public Information Officer Michael Hewitt says an infant was discovered Sunday morning around 11 a.m. in a creek on the 1500 block of Fenwick Avenue.
The age of the child is undetermined, Hewitt said. The cause and manner of the child's death is unknown.
