(INDIANAPOLIS) - Police were searching Friday for a missing 10-year-old girl.
RTV6 reports, Tatyana Staten was last seen just before 2 p.m. in the 4300 block of Elizabeth Street, near Shadeland Avenue and 42nd Street.
"Tatyana is believed to have run away from her residence after being suspended from school earlier today," Indianapolis police spokesman Officer Kendale Adams. "With the extreme temperatures detectives are concerned about the well-being of the Tatyana."
Staten is black, 4 feet 5 inches tall with brown braids. She was last seen wearing a black jacket with a pink lining and black shoes.
Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call 911.
