(SHELBY COUNTY) - All lanes of I-74 have reopened following a fatal crash early Tuesday in Shelby County.
Jim Scott of WISH TV8 reports that the crash occurred around 12:30 am in the westbound lanes of I-74 at mile marker 112, which is just west of State Road 9.
Shelby County Police say a vehicle going eastbound went into the median and then into the path of a westbound truck.
The driver of the vehicle was killed.
All lanes of I-74 westbound were closed several hours while investigators collected evidence.
Authorities have not yet released information on the cause of the crash or the victim's identity.
