(GREENWOOD) - The Greenwood Police Department has been put on a coyote watch after a number of attacks on small animals.
The Daily Journal reports that a resident let her Yorkie out in the backyard early one morning. While outside, a coyote snatched the small dog up.
Officials say this is just one of a number of coyote attacks on small pets in Greenwood. Attacks have been reported in the Clearbrook Lakes neighborhood, as well as other Greenwood neighborhoods.
