According to an Indiana State Police press release, investigators determined this incident was a random act. Troopers said the trio were driving around and came to Indiana deciding to breaking into a home.

Once inside, they were apparently confronted by Mrs. Hershman and shot her.

Moore is being held at the Hamilton County Justice Center in Cincinnati, Ohio on a preliminary charge of murder.
