Police: Suspects Steal Oxycodone From CVS

Last updated on Saturday, January 5, 2013

(GREENWOOD) - Police are searching for two suspects who they say escaped through a drive-through window after robbing a Greenwood CVS.

WISH TV8 reports, police were dispatched to the CVS in the 400 block of Market Place Drive around 8 p.m. Thursday night. On scene, officers spoke with witnesses of the robbery.

A worker in the pharmacy told police that a white man wearing dark clothing walked toward her pointing a dark revolver. The suspect pointed the gun at her and told her to open the drive-through window.

The woman said she heard a second man yell, "get down and give me the Oxycodone." He is described as a white man wearing light-colored clothing and a mask. A store clerk said she called 911 because a customer ran toward her saying the pharmacy was being robbed and the suspect was armed with a gun.

Witnesses say the suspect filled a dark-colored backpack with medication, before escaping out the drive-through window.

The men were seen leaving the parking lot in a white Chevy passenger car at very high speeds.
