(BOONE COUNTY) - The ramp from southbound Interstate 65 to eastbound Interstate 865 remains closed due to an overnight crash involving two semi-trailers. The drivers were not seriously injured.

Police on the scene say that the first semi, carrying a load of cracked walnuts, jack knifed on the ramp around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday. The second semi drove through the first, causing the cab to crumple onto the driver.

The driver of the second semi was able to crawl out of his cab without serious injury.

INDOT traffic control expects the ramp to reopen before Tuesday morning's rush hour.
