Last updated on Saturday, December 1, 2012

(INDIANAPOLIS) - An Indianapolis woman reports she was molested at a northeast side business while trying to redeem an offer from online shopping site Groupon.

The woman reported to Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers on Thursday that she had purchased a discount offer from Groupon, and had arrived to collect on her massage at a spa in the 5500 block of East 71st Street.

She told officers that the male employee in charge at the spa told her to remove all her clothes for the massage.

In their official police report, officers write that the woman questioned having to remove her clothes, but she had never gotten a massage before, so she went ahead and stripped after the employee insisted.

The woman told police the employee returned to the room after she disrobed and he inappropriately touched between her legs and also touched her breasts.

The woman's age was not included in the portion of the police report that is publicly available.

Police were provided a description of the spa worker and officers attached his name to the report that was forwarded to detectives to begin a criminal investigation. No charges were immediately filed.

Groupon is a popular website that allows people to purchase coupons or discounted tickets for meals and events in many localities, including Indianapolis.
