Last updated on Tuesday, December 18, 2012

(INDIANAPOLIS) - A southwest side Indianapolis man was arrested on charges of child molestation shortly after he was assaulted by the family of his victim, police said.

TheIndyChannel.com reports, officers were called to a mobile home park near Lynhurst Drive and Troy Avenue on Sunday after a 10-year-old girl texted her older sister to say she had been touched inappropriately while spending the night at a friend's home.

According to a police report, the girl said she woke up when someone touched her, and that she recognized the man as Jesus Baltazar, 41, who lived in the home.

After she texted her sister, the sister's husband and two other men came to the home and forced their way inside, assaulting Baltazar, his wife and his son, police said.

Officers found blood "all over the floor" and several spots of blood on the walls, according to the police report.

Baltazar was taken to Wishard Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. He was later arrested on three counts of child molesting.

Detectives didn't release Baltazar's mug shot due to the ongoing investigation.

There have been no reports of arrests made in the assault.
