Gov- Elect Mike Pence Announces Detail Surrounding His Inaguration

(CARMEL)- Gov.-elect Mike Pence announced details regarding events surrounding his inauguration January 14th.

"We want every Hoosier to have an opportunity to take part in the upcoming inaugural events," said incoming First Lady, Karen Pence. "With free activities from our Family Fun Day to the Inauguration Ceremony, we want this inaugural weekend to have something for everyone from every corner of the state. Mike and I look forward to joining Hoosiers at each event to mark this special occasion in the life of our state."

At all inaugural events, staff will be accepting donations to the Midwest Food Bank. Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to any of the events listed below.

Saturday, January 12:

11 a.m. - 2 p.m. EST - Family Fun Day
Free, Open to the public, Registration is required
Dallara IndyCar Factory, 1201 Main Street, Speedway, IN 46224

7 p.m. - 11 p.m. - Inaugural Ball Dinner & Dance
Black Tie Optional, General Attendance for the Inaugural Ball: $150/couple, $75/individual, Registration is required
JW Marriott, 10 South West Street, Indianapolis, IN 46204

Sunday, January 13:

1:30 p.m. - Inaugural Praise & Worship Service
Free, Open to the public, Registration is required
Clowes Memorial Hall of Butler University, 4602 Sunset Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46208

Monday, January 14:

11 a.m. - Inauguration Ceremony
Free, Open to the public, Registration is required
Indiana Statehouse, 200 West Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46204

Registration for all events will open in mid-December.
