Vincennes Bomb Threat Suspect Named

(VINCENNES) - A Vincennes University student has been identified as the author of bomb threats made against the University this semester.

The VU Police Department was assisted by other police agencies in identifying Randall T. Nichols of Sullivan as the suspect who made the email bomb threats.

In a statement given to University Police, the 24-year-old Nichols admitted to sending the emails.

Nichols' case has been referred to the Knox County Prosecutor's Office for the possible filing of charges.

At this time no charges have been filed by federal authorities.
