(GREENWOOD) - It was an unpleasant surprise in Greenwood — vandals spray-painted obscene messages and images on several vehicles, homes and signs.
Sunday morning, Greenwood residents woke up to orange spray paint with obscene images of the male anatomy and four-letter words.
Nick Colyd, one of the victims of the vandalism says he doesn't don't know why someone would do this.
Coolyd was one of around nine residents in just a three-block radius who had their property vandalized. In his case the phrase SK8 was painted on the side of his house.
Other residents like Jonathan Gomes had obscene images spray-painted on the hood of their cars.
Police officials said they suspect teens are to blame but at this point, there haven't been any arrests.
