Last updated on Sunday, November 18, 2012

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Two people died after a shooting at a northwest Indianapolis factory.

FOX59 reports, the incident happened around 6:40 p.m Friday at the ConAgra Foods plant, near West 62nd Street and Guion Road.

Witnesses tell police the victim was sitting in the break room when the shooting suspect walked in and made eye contact with him.

The suspect then left the room.

While the victim was at the soda machine, the shooter came back into the room and shot the victim.

The witness reports hearing several shots, then seeing the shooter put the gun to his head and pull the trigger.

The victim, Anthony Hicks, 45, of Indianapolis, was rushed to St. Vincent Hospital where he died.

The shooter, Alonzo Laws, 44, of Indianapolis, was pronounced dead in the break room.

Investigators say it's too soon to pinpoint a motive, but are talking to other employees and bosses at the factory.

The nearly 400 employees at the ConAgra facility produce margarine and dessert toppings.
