Employees Find Camera In Bathroom Of Doctor's Office

Last updated on Friday, November 30, 2012

(RICHMOND) - Police are investigating after employees at a doctor’s office claim they found a video camera hidden in a bathroom.

A woman who works at the Altman Foot & Ankle Clinic at 3923 Chester Blvd. told police she noticed a red light glowing from beneath some supplies on a shelf across from the toilet in the employee restroom Tuesday night, the Palladium-Item reported.

When she got up to check on the light, she told police she found a video camera pointed directly at the toilet.

She and another employee told police that they spotted an icon with the same name as the camera on the computer desktop of one of the doctors at the office.

Investigators with the Wayne County Sheriff's Department searched the facility for video recording equipment, computers, computer hard drives and SD cards.

Few other details were immediately released. No arrests had been made Thursday.
