(SHELBY COUNTY) - State police have released the identity of a tanker truck driver who was killed in a fiery crash that closed Interstate 74 in Shelby County Thursday.
An autopsy confirmed Daniel M. Martin, 46, of Bloomington, was driving the tanker truck that sideswiped a car, overcorrected, tipped over and caught fire.
The crash happened just east of the London Road exit near the 105 mile marker Thursday afternoon, shutting down the eastbound roadway for more than 16 hours.
