Man Pleads Guilty To Child Seduction

(GREENCASTLE) - A former substitute teacher at North Putnam High School pleaded guilty Thursday to one count of child seduction.

Nicholas Vester, along with two other men, admitted to having an inappropriate relationship with a 16-year-old student back in February.

According to a probable cause affidavit in February, Nicholas Vester, 24, a former substitute Spanish teacher at North Putnam High School, became involved with a teen at the end of last year. Vester told police he and the boy had exchanged text messages and pictures and they had also kissed and engaged in sex acts on two separate occasions.

On Thursday, he pleaded guilty to one count of child seduction.

Vester will be sentenced on Nov. 8.
