(NOTRE DAME) - Indiana State Excise Police Officers arrested 11 people for underage drinking during tailgating before a Notre Dame football game Saturday.
Excise officers were on Patrol in South Bend as part of the state Alcohol and Tobacco Commission's continuing efforts to reduce underage drinking in Indiana.
Officers have had an increased presence on a number of college campuses this year. Those schools include, Purdue, IU , Butler, Ball State , Notre Dame, and Indiana State University .
