Last updated on Monday, September 17, 2012

(VINECENNES) - A Vincennes man leads police on a chase after someone says he stole anhydrous ammonia from a local farm.

The Knox County Sheriff's Department arrested Allen Boover on several charges, including meth-related and resisting arrest charges.

It started at 2:48 Sunday afternoon when Mouzin Farms called 911 to report the theft.

The caller caught sight of Boover's moped and gave a description to police.

During the chase, a deputy saw Boover throw a container that, when found, contained anhydrous ammonia.

Boover was arrested in the 900 block of North 14th Street.

Police say Boover had a day pass from Knox County Community Corrections.

He's in the Knox County Jail without bond.
