(FISHERS) - A python named Rocky is slithering around a local schooland efforts to find it are ongoing.

Joe LePage, of Fox59 News reports, a python named Rocky is slithering around a local schooland efforts to find it are ongoing.

The three- to four-foot-long ball python is on the loose in one of the classrooms at Fishers Junior High School.

School officials think Rocky may still be confined to the science room, but snake expert Kirk Neuner said there are plenty of places the snake could travel.

Hamilton Southeastern Schools hired a private company to try to find the snake. The school will have members of the custodial staff check the science classroom this weekend to look for any signs of Rocky.
