Man Pleads Guilty To Drunk Driving Accident That Killed Two

(HENDERSON COUNTY) - The man accused of causing a February accident that killed two people pleads guilty.

Chris Veech, of Tri-State Homepage.com reports, Albert Williams pleaded guilty to two counts of murder and one count of drunk driving.

Prosecutors will recommend a 25 year prison term when Williams is sentenced next month.

The accident was on S.R. 60 in western Henderson County on the night of Valentine's Day. Deputies say Williams was drunk when his truck crossed the center line and hit another vehicle.

Jonathan Coomes died in the accident. His passenger, Michael Pritchett, died several weeks later from his injuries.
