Man In Wig, Scrubs Steals Narcotics From Pharmacy

(INDIANAPOLIS) — Police are searching for a man who robbed a CVS pharmacy of narcotics on Aug. 26.

RTV Channel 6 reports, a man at the CVS at 4401 E. 10th St. gave a note to the pharmacist that said he had a gun and that he would use it if he didn't get all of the Oxycontin and Oxycodone.

Police say the robber is described as being 20 to 30 years old and 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet tall.

The man was wearing a black wig, sunglasses, blue or purple hospital scrubs and black and white tennis shoes. He was carrying a black bag over his shoulder.

Anyone with information about the identity of the suspect or incident is asked to call IMPD Robbery Detectives at 317-327-1145, or callers can call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 317-262-TIPS.
