(INDIANAPOLIS) - A 27-year-old man was fatally shot in a robbery on Indianapolis’ northeast side early Saturday, police said.
Officers were called to a home at 4107 Marseille Road, near 42nd Street and Post Road, just after 2:30 a.m. on a report of a suspicious person.
As police were en route, another call came in reporting a gun shot in the same area.
When officers arrived, they found the 27-year-old laying in front of the home, suffering from gunshot wounds.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim's name was not immediately released.
