Man Crashes Stolen Motorcycle, aArrested

(COLUMBUS) - A Columbus man crashed a stolen motorcycle Friday night following a police chase, The Republic reports.

Indiana State Police arrested James Sandefur, 49, of South Cherry Street after a high-speed chase that began in north Columbus and ended in Elizabethtown, according to police.

On Saturday he was being held on felony charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a prior conviction, resisting law enforcement with a vehicle and receiving stolen property.

His misdemeanor charges include resisting law enforcement on foot, reckless driving and leaving the scene of a crash.
