Last updated on Wednesday, August 1, 2012

(UNDATED) - Thunderstorms rolled into southern Johnson County with powerful winds toppling trees and delivering very large hail in and around the Edinburgh area.

Numerous instances of trees down from Edinburgh to Flat Rock in Southern Shelby County were also reported.
