(REELSVILLE) - A father and son are found dead in their rural Putnam County home.
Indiana State Police say Kevin Boatright, 40, and his son Jeremy Boatright, 14, were found dead by a family member Wednesday afternoon in Reelsville.
Police tell us indicators suggest that the son died of a gunshot wound and that his father died of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
State police say they began an investigation into the elder Boatright Tuesday. That investigation stems from allegations that he contributed to the delinquency of two underage females. We're told that there wasn't sufficient evidence to warrant an immediate arrest, but that the investigation had been continuing.
Autopsies for both father and son are scheduled for today. The death investigation is ongoing.
