Man Sentenced To 165 Years In Prison For Torture And Killing Putnam County Man

Last updated on Monday, August 13, 2012

(BEDFORD) - A 165-year prison sentence has been given to a Putnam County man convicted by a jury of the torture killing of Joseph Snow almost a year ago in southeastern Parke County.

In July, a Parke County jury found 28-year-old Jeremy Musall guilty of murder, burglary, rape and kidnapping in six criminal charges filed in connection with the August 2011 death of Joseph Snow.

Musall made only a brief statement in court where he apologized to Snow's family and his own family, as well as to the woman he raped on the night he killed Snow by beating and strangling him in front of Snow's toddler child.

Judge Sam Swaim found Musall to be among the "worst of the worst" based on his violent criminal history.
