Greenwood Police Looking For Bank Robbery

(GREENWOOD) - Police are searching for a suspect from a bank robbery in Greenwood.

On Friday, Greenwood Police Department responded to a bank robbery at Bloomfield State Bank, 893 E. Main St. The robbery took place around 11:30 a.m. and according to bank tellers, the suspect was a white male, approximately 6'2''-6'4'' and weighing around 200 pounds. He was wearing black sunglasses, a black baseball cap, black leather gloves, oversized black T-shirt, black shoes and blue jeans.

According to witnesses, the man did not reveal a weapon or indicated that he carried one. The suspect was covering his face with a black cloth and demanded the money be placed in a Kroger shopping bag. He was seen leaving the bank in what looked like a blue 90s Saturn coupe.
