Bagged Romaine Salad Recalled In 19 States

(UNDATED) - Fresh Express, Inc. is recalling their 10 ounce Hearts of Romaine bagged salad with an expired Use-By-Date of August 23, because of a few random samples testing positive for Listeria.

Product codes associated with the recall begin with "G2222" according to FoodSafteyNews.com .

It's advised that you check your recently purchased Hearts of Romaine bagged salad for the previously stated markings. If you have the recalled product, you're advised to throw the bag away.

Fresh Express stated that the UPC Code of 71279 26102, located on the back of the package below the barcode, would help identify recalled product, which was distributed in limited quantities to the following states: AL, AR, FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, LA, MD, MO, MS, NC, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, WV.

So far no illnesses have been reported.
