13-Year-Old Critically Injured In Shooting

(INDIANAPOLIS) - A 13-year-old boy remained in critical condition Monday after a shooting on the city’s east side.

Indianapolis Metro Police Department officers said shots were fired Sunday night just before 9 p.m. in the 100 block of North Denny Street.

Detectives responding to the call said they found the teen lying in an alley with gunshot wounds to his head and thigh.

He was hospitalized in critical condition, police said.

IMPD asked anyone with information about a possible motive behind the shooting to Crime Stoppers at 317-262-TIPS.
