Indianapolis Metro Police Department officers said shots were fired Sunday night just before 9 p.m. in the 100 block of North Denny Street.

Detectives responding to the call said they found the teen lying in an alley with gunshot wounds to his head and thigh.

He was hospitalized in critical condition, police said.
