(UNDATED) - The Indiana Department of Homeland Security has issued a state-wide water shortage warning.

The warning that had been declared for thirty-two counties will now go state-wide with the U.S. Geologic Survey showing low water levels in water sources throughout the Hoosier state.

Joe Wainscott with the Indiana's Department of Homeland Security, says because of the continued drought, they are asking everyone to conserve water, but for businesses that use a lot of water, that number is more specific.

Any water consumer that uses more than 100,000 gallons a day, or more, is asked to cut water usage by 10 to 15 percent in order to help with a worsening water shortage.
