Tree Unexpectedly Falls, Trapping 1, Injuring 2 More

(INDIANAPOLIS) - A man was trapped and two others were hurt when a large part of a rotted tree fell without warning.

A family was in their yard in the 4300 block of North Park Avenue when a large tree branch fell, hitting some of the family members.

One man was trapped under the tree and had to be freed by emergency personnel.

Another man suffered an injured ankle, and a woman sustained an injury to her foot.

All three were transported to the hospital.

The rest of the family, including two small children, were nearby in the yard when the tree fell.

The rest of the family members were unharmed.
