(SPEEDWAY) - A Speedway man was taken to the hospital after a three hour standoff with police Tuesday.
Officials said they were called to the 5000 block of West 11th Street on reports of a suicidal subject around 6:20 p.m.
When they arrived, a man barricaded himself inside the home and refused to come out.
The man was taken to Wishard Hospital after he sustained minor injuries to his hands.
He faces a preliminary charge of threatening police.
