(WEST LAFAYETTE) - A member of Team USA will represent his country and central Indiana in the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London.

Platform diver David Boudia of Noblesville has been training at Purdue University's Boilermaker Aquatics Center.

"In a typical training day, we do about two hours in the morning, two hours in the afternoon and depending on the day we have weight training and Pilates. You've got to get in your chiropractics and massage work. It's a full day schedule, but you know, this is the best job in the world," Boudia said.

For Boudia, a Purdue graduate, it's about honoring his faith, family, and community,

Starting July 27, Boudia hopes his preparation will translate into performance as he relies on a platform of supporters in Indiana.

Boudia competed in the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing and said he feels more prepared and confident this year.
