Last updated on Thursday, July 19, 2012

(NASHVILLE, Tenn.) - The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said one of the state’s most wanted fugitives has been captured in Indianapolis.

The TBI said U.S. marshals caught Cedric Monteze Leavy, 25, of Memphis on Tuesday.

He was wanted by the Tipton County (Tenn.) Sheriff's Office on charges of first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder and felony possession of a firearm.

The charges came after a fight at a bar in Mason, Tenn., on March 25. Investigators said several individuals shot into a crowd outside the business.

The TBI said Leavy is a felon with arrests on various charges dating back to 2005.
