Landscapers Dealing With Drought

(UNDATED) - A lot of people have given up on that American dream of having a green lush-looking lawn.

That's thanks to a late 1980's style drought that has made most front yards look like the landscape in a Clint Eastwood spaghetti western.

Landscapers are having a tough time in what is usually a great month for business. Center Grove landscaper Jeff Williams says people are waiting for rain before they start thinking about lawn care again.

He says they've had a few calls out of the ordinary from people who want things done or who are asking to see if anything can really be done. But he says most people are just giving up on their lawns for now.

Landscapers do have a silver lining ahead. Once temperatures break and fall approaches, many people will start calling their neighborhood landscaper again, looking for lawn repair, instead of maintenance.
