(FRANKLIN) - A Johnson County Juvenile Detention Center faces molestation charges after police said he assaulted two boys over the course of several years.
Dwayne Carter, of Franklin, was arrested last week after a short investigation by the Franklin Police Department that identified two victims whom they said Carter had been molesting since early 2007. The boys were between the ages of 11 and 15, police said, when the inappropriate touching - including oral sex - occurred.
Neither were incarcerated at the juvenile center where Carter worked, police said.
Carter was arrested on preliminary charges of child molestation and sexual misconduct with a minor, both Class B felonies, and possession of child pornography and dissemination of matter harmful to minors, both Class D felonies. He was being held at Johnson County Jail on $126,000 bond.
