Firefighter Overcome With Heat Exhaustion While Battling Blaze

(INDIANAPOLIS) - A Beech Grove firefighter was taken to the hospital suffering heat exhaustion Tuesday.

Fire broke out at an unoccupied trailer in the 4000 block of Noah Drive around 12:34 p.m.

It took firefighters about 20 minutes to subdue the blaze.

The injured firefighter is expected to recover. No other injuries were reported.

Investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire. Damages are estimated at $15,000.
